Looks like I got a pass.
The neighbor called and said that a friend of his is going to sell him a saw. He's going over Sunday to pick it up.
A shame! You were looking at this all wrong and now it's too late to take advantage of my advice. Next time you get such a chance explain that the worst mistake he can make is buying too small of a saw like yours.
He needed at least a 661 and a yard of bar. That way when you need a bigger saw for one tree you know where to look!
