I will not build a 044 anymore to use ,the plastic is so old ,even though "NEW" and unused ,they are still over 20 years old and are more brittle than a 440 ,the o44 tanks break much easier due to the older plastic ,at least that is my experience in the last few tanks i owned .

spent $200 on a NOS 064 tank and $300+shipping for a NOS 044 tank in the last year
the saws that need them are worth it and will be runners (or at least shelf queens that have run)

Took a little trip to Maryland this weekend, my body is not happy but my inner saw-nerd rejoices.
Brian was great and easy to deal with.
My wife and I found a quaint little bed and breakfast for the night and this creepy bastard stared at us from the mantle all night as we tried to find a comfortable position in the full size bed.
It's like a 12 year old serial killer sketched an androgynous marionette getting leg humped by the worlds most sadly proportioned beagle/gopher.
But it was worth it
