Might be right, guess I get too frustrated by trying to install them. I think I will check out my local Echo dealer and see if he has some large 2 eared clips to try on these AM piston. Those are the easiest to install IMO.

Just an update.Ended up using a supplied clip and an Echo on other side.This is off the top of my head but I ordered 2 Wisco cw-10 supposed to be like .046 and were .039.Matched up some Kawasaki circlips also about .038.Both clips distorted installing, the Echo kept it's shape and any Stihl clip I used.Maybe the red neck install hurts but I hope they improve these.
No, I think the clips are made too soft. When I put some in they didn't seem like they were springy enough, more like plain wire only a bit stiffer.
