And frugal! Not to knock a brand, but both Brad & Randy seem to recommend 32:1 for some of the larger hot running huskies due to bearing concerns, but have not noted similar failures in the Stihl saws running 40:1. I don't make this stuff up, so don't get mad at me for it.

40:1 with a good oil s/b just fine, and the info from the oil thread said the Amsoil provides a little better protection than Sithl oil, so I'm comfortable with what I'm using. Has worked well so far.

oil thread is 2 long to read. I had a couple cases of Woodland Pro and asked what ratio I should use. Since he built them, I have no reason to question it. And haven't had a lick of trouble using that oil.

All I've got in 009 currently is an 18". Do you think it will pull semi chisel or should I order a loop of skip?

85cc with an 18'' bar.... it will cut with the chain on backwards

As long as the saw runs strong, probably not at this point. If it needs to come apart, it will get the full work over.
