My only point is that there's no point to limit the RPMs of your saws to stock. Anything you do to let the cylinder breathe is going to increase the RPMs. I do not raise exhaust ports 99% of the time. If you're widening ports but still running stock RPMs by running it rich, then that's completely counter productive to the power you're trying to produce. You have to tune the saw where it wants to be tuned for it to make the power it's capable of. Any more than that and you're just loading up the engine with more than the ideal fuel mixture. A properly tuned saw will only have a hint of 4-stroke at WOT.
