Yeeeessss.....ported saws.....I have heard of such creatures.... Actually, the 266xp that I picked up sounds like it's had some work of some kind done to it. It's definitely throatier (is that a word?) than my other saws. I don't know much about the insides of saws yet, but I'd like to start learning. All I know is that I REALLY like the way it sounds!

MT. is a great state in which to live. I / we lived in Helena for over 4 yrs. My wife was born in MT., and still has family scattered all over the state.

Thanks 2123! I love it here and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I think the only place I would want to move to from here would be Alaska. Where in MT was your wife born?
