I had a guy at work put a sign on the bulletin board once, the paper
said "Fish, your an IDOT"
We had fun with him for that.
i dont think 90% of the forum members will understand that one

epic thread title

Same workplace, we had a new vending machine for soft drinks, one of the
first shift guys lost his dollar, and put up a sign on it saying "This machine
owes me:"
Below that he wrote his name and "$1.00"
Other people that day that lost their money did the same.
When we came on at second shift, it was obvious that we weren't going to
buy any soft drinks that evening, and as he was clocking out, he was still
whining about his money, so after first shift had left, I changed his $1.00 to
a $4.00.
This guy was a real weasel, so second shift loved the prank.
We worked a double that night, and when we were clocking out in the a.m.
the service manager was there, chewing him out for putting in $4 before
giving up....
Fish. The 'your' that you used is to say: "That is your ball. The 'your' you should have used would be you're saying you are.

Food for thought. I didn't see the blunder in the title of the thread when I first read it.
I didn't realize there were so many English major members.
Yes, guys get pretty 'holier than thou' about language usage from time to time! However, when posts have no clear sentences, or capitalization, it can get tough to decode meaning. Grammar and spelling do not have to be perfect, but mix in a period once in a while and capitalize the start of a new sentence--this will get the haters off your back. Listen to me--oh the irony!

they are nick picking
We have members on AS from Eastern Europe and other places where
English is not their native language. I have to read twice to interpret
what the members from Australia & NZ mean some times even through
we speak & type the same basic language.
Sawtroll types better English than most AS members & he is from Norway.
Hey man--just jerking around a little! I am feeling a little punchy after my English curriculum class!!!! HaHa, yes, I am an English teacher. Carry on.

I realize that this is a little bit nit picky.
